What items can you clear?
We can clear most types of items including furniture; electrical equipment; fixtures and fittings; rubbish and waste; and general clutter. Let us know what you need clearing for a more accurate estimate.
Are you insured to carry out the work?
We are insured to come and collect and dispose of any items (except items of harmful nature) from anywhere in your property. We are insured with public liability insurance. All our vehicles are insured to carry out the job and transfer waste.
Are you licensed to carry out the work?
Yes. We are fully licensed as a waste carrier with the Environment Agency.
Do I have to be home for you to remove my rubbish?
No, you do not have to be home when we remove your rubbish. We are flexible and aim to please. Once arrangements have been clarified and access is permitted, our two men team will still contact you with a precise “on the spot” quote before commencing work.
Do you donate items to charities?
Yes of course, it is in our interest to donate as much as we can to keep recycling fees down. We can usually manage to set aside a good percentage of items we clear to be later re-used by various charitable organisations .
Do you ever clear houses for free?
We have on many occasion cleared houses for free. If the property contains period type items and furniture we can put on the market, we would be happy to reach an agreement that is beneficial for both you and us.
What day could I book a clearance?
We work 7 days a week, we can work through the night if requested.
Do I need to be at the property while it is being cleared?
If you can not attend, it is not a problem, we can pick up keys from a suitable location, i.e. your place of work, we can work with your, neighbour, solicitor or estate agent, once we have completed the clearance we can then leave the door key with the relevant person
Is there anything I need to do?
No, we’ll do everything for you. Just tell us what you want clearing and we’ll do the rest, we can even remove carpets and curtains if you want.
How and when do I pay?
Once the job has been completed, we will provide you with your own invoice which includes our business details. We will also provide you with a waste transfer note and or waste-disposal receipt to cover you legally.
